Well done for taking steps to improve your child’s well being. This hypno-meditation session is aimed at 7-15 year olds who are having night time toileting accidents and the parent or carer has tried all other avenues of help, including seeing your GP.
There can be many reasons for night time accidents, and it is sensible to go through all possibilities, for example, having a regular sleep pattern, stopping all drinking several hours before bed and checking the child is not too hot or cold in their sleeping environment, amongst other things. Please see your GP for more ideas and to check the child’s physical well being.
This relaxing guided meditation utilises techniques from both hypnotherapy and meditation, giving the recipient the tools to relax and de-stress, whilst also harnessing their imagination to reinforce the beneficial suggestions found within the story. With repeated use, listening to this recording will increase the child’s confidence in their ability to control their urination, convince them that they will be able to awake during the night and boost their general well being. Repetition is the key to success, so please listen regularly, especially at first, to reinforce the suggestions contained within.
Listen frequently at bed time, or it can be put on overnight (they do not need to be awake), but do not listen while driving or operating machinery (for example, riding bikes, walking around or while someone is driving).
